Vast Infraestrutura realiza Premiação de SSO de Contratadas

Em março, a Vast Infraestrutura realizou sua cerimônia anual de Premiação das Melhores Performances de Segurança e Saúde Ocupacional (SSO) de Contratadas, evento que tem como objetivo engajar as pessoas na melhoria contínua da cultura de segurança e premiar as 3 empresas parceiras que tenham apresentado o melhor desempenho nesse quesito em sua atuação no terminal de petróleo (T-Oil) da companhia.

Neste ano, as empresas premiadas foram Grupo Brasanitas, OceanPact Serviços Marítimos e Digital Tecnologia e Segurança. O evento aconteceu no Hotel do Açu, no Porto do Açu, em São João da Barra, e foi transmitido para os colaboradores, parceiros e clientes.

A classificação final ficou:
1º lugar – Grupo Brasanitas, com a pontuação máxima de 100 pontos
2º lugar – OceanPact Serviços Marítimos, com 99 pontos
3º lugar – Digital Tecnologia e Segurança, com 94 pontos

Vast Infraestrutura stands out in the 2023 Maritime Performance

Vast Infraestrutura was one of the highlights of the 2023 Maritime Performance, released this month by ANTAQ (the Brazilian National Agency for Waterway Transportation).

According to the data, the company ranked 1st in the crude oil export market, handling 28.89 million tons. Additionally, Vast was responsible for 51% of the movement in terminals exporting oil in Brazil. Compared to 2022, this represents a growth of 34.5%, the highest in the category.

In the overall crude oil movement, Vast secured 2nd place, with a volume of 57.6 million tons and a growth of 32.9% compared to 2022. The numbers also reveal that the company’s oil terminal, T-Oil, accounts for 69% of all cargo movement at Porto do Açu, the country’s 2nd largest port!

The data demonstrates the growth and strength that Vast has been achieving in the market, as well as the trust its partners place in the company.

A Vast Infraestrutura foi um dos destaques do Desempenho Aquaviário 2023, divulgado esse mês pela Agência Nacional de Transportes Aquaviários (ANTAQ).

De acordo com os dados, a empresa ficou em 1º lugar no mercado de exportação de óleo bruto, movimentando 28,89 milhões de toneladas. Além disso, a Vast foi responsável por 51% da movimentação nos terminais que exportam petróleo no Brasil. Em relação a 2022, o número representa um crescimento de 34,5%, sendo o maior da categoria.

Já na movimentação total de óleo bruto, a empresa conquistou o 2º lugar, com um volume de 57,6 milhões de toneladas movimentadas e um crescimento de 32,9% em relação a 2022. Os números mostram ainda que o terminal de petróleo da Vast, o T-Oil, movimenta 69% de toda a carga do Porto do Açu, 2º maior porto do país.

Os dados demonstram o crescimento e a robustez que a Vast vem alcançando no mercado, bem como a confiança que os parceiros depositam na empresa.

Vast Infraestrutura promotes its 2024 Sea Turtle Hatchling Walk

On January 24th, Vast Infraestrutura promoted the 2024 Sea Turtle Hatchling Walk, an initiative that is part of the Marine Turtle Monitoring Program, developed by Vast and other companies present at Porto do Açu.

The event brought together approximately 65 people, including Vast employees and partners, at Reserva Caruara, with a program that included, in addition to the walk, a visit to the program’s base, where the main information about loggerhead turtles (caretta-caretta), their reproductive cycle, and the monitoring and conservation actions for these animals were presented.

Since 2008, the program has been operating in the region with the aim of aligning the development of the Açu Complex with biodiversity conservation, monitoring 62km of beach from Pontal de Atafona in São João da Barra to Barra do Furado in Campos dos Goytacazes. Altogether, the program has already released over 1 million hatchlings into the sea.

Vast Infraestrutura realiza Caminhada de Filhotes ao Mar 2024

No dia 24/01, a Vast Infraestrutura promoveu a edição de 2024 da Caminhada de Filhotes ao Mar, iniciativa que faz parte do Programa de Monitoramento de Tartarugas Marinhas (PMTM), desenvolvido pela empresa e por outras companhias presentes no Porto do Açu.

A ação reuniu cerca de 65 pessoas, entre colaboradores da Vast e de empresas parceiras, na Reserva Caruara, com uma programação que incluiu, além da caminhada, uma visita à base do programa, onde foram apresentadas as principais informações sobre a tartaruga cabeçuda (caretta-caretta), seu ciclo reprodutivo e as ações de monitoramento e conservação desses animais.

Desde 2008, o PMTM atua na região com o objetivo de alinhar o desenvolvimento do Complexo do Açu à conservação da biodiversidade, monitorando 62km de praia, desde o Pontal de Atafona, em São João da Barra, até a Barra do Furado, em Campos dos Goytacazes. Ao todo, de lá para cá, o programa já liberou mais de 1 milhão de filhotes ao mar.

No dia 29 de janeiro, a Vast Infraestrutura celebrou 1.500 dias de trabalho seguro. O marco representa mais de 4 anos de operações eficientes e responsáveis, com uma atuação segura e preocupada com os cuidados às pessoas e ao meio ambiente.

Esse resultado é reflexo dos valores e práticas diárias da empresa, em que a Segurança é inegociável e a cultura de prevenção a acidentes, uma realidade.

Vast Infraestrutura receives DP NS Pioneer for its 1st transshipment operation

Last December, Vast Infraestrutura received at its terminal (T-Oil), in Porto do Açu, the DP NS Pioneer from CNOOC International, for its 1st oil transshipment operation.

The service, successfully and safely completed by the teams operating at T-Oil, handled approximately 1 million barrels of oil and represented a significant milestone for the chinese O&G company, which had representatives visiting Vast’s terminal and could witness the operation.

Vast is honored to be part of this meaningful moment for its partners.

Vast Infraestrutura recebe DP NS Pioneer para sua 1ª operação

Em dezembro de 2023, a Vast Infraestrutura recebeu em seu terminal de petróleo (T-Oil), no Porto do Açu, o DP NS Pioneer, da CNOOC International, para sua 1ª operação de transbordo de petróleo.

O serviço, concluído com sucesso e em segurança pelas equipes que atuam no T-Oil, movimentou cerca de 1 milhão de barris de petróleo e representou um marco importante para a chinesa de óleo e gás, que esteve presente em visita ao terminal da Vast e pôde acompanhar a operação.

Aves do Açu project helds educational activities in São João da Barra

At the end of its 2023 season, the Aves do Açu project, Vast Infraestrutura’s 100% voluntary initiative, took significant steps in its work. The project, which aims at monitoring and preserving the trinta-réis bird species that frequent the company’s oil terminal at the Porto do Açu, organized two awareness-raising actions at Reserva Caruara: the workshop “Challenges in Combating Avian Influenza (H5N1) in 2023 from Different Perspectives” and the itinerant exhibition of Aves do Açu.

The workshop brought together representatives from all three levels of government, managers of Conservation Units, experts in wild birds, and leaders from the local community of São João da Barra for a discussion on the impact of avian influenza in Brazil, particularly in the northern region of Rio de Janeiro. This fostered an important exchange of knowledge and contributed to addressing the zoosanitary emergency.

As for the Aves do Açu exhibition, it aimed to educate visitors about the habits, behavior and reproductive cycle of the trinta-réis birds, as well as presenting the project and its important results.
