In September, Vast Infraestrutura completed 900 oil transshipment operations performed at its terminal in Porto do Açu. The milestone was reached with an operation that handled around 1 million barrels of oil.
The achievement reinforces all of Vast’s growth and consolidation, as well as the trust that the market places in its excellent services, which put safety and sustainability in first place.
No mês de setembro, a Vast Infraestrutura alcançou 900 operações de transbordo de petróleo realizadas em seu terminal de petróleo no Porto do Açu, no T-Oil. O marco foi alcançado com uma operação que movimentou cerca de 1 milhão de barris de petróleo.

Na última semana, entre os dias 23 e 26 de setembro, a Vast Infraestrutura marcou presença na ROG.e 2024, maior evento do setor de óleo e gás (O&G) da América Latina.
Além de um estande compartilhado com a Porto do Açu, a DOME Serviços Integrados e a Efen – Combustíveis Marítimos, onde a companhia expôs seu protagonismo no transbordo de petróleo no Brasil e divulgou o Terminal de Líquidos do Açu (TLA), seu projeto de expansão, a Vast marcou presença também no congresso da ROG.e, com a participação do CEO Victor Snabaitis Bomfim no painel “Sessão Especial – Infraestrutura para movimentação de líquidos: incertezas inseridas no cenário de transição”.
Na ocasião, Bomfim pôde reforçar o papel da Vast no mercado e a relevância que o TLA terá para a infraestrutura brasileira para a movimentação de líquidos.
Last week, between September 23 and 26, Vast Infraestrutura attended ROG.e 2024, the largest event of the oil and gas (O&G) sector in Latin America.
In addition to a stand shared with Porto do Açu, DOME and Efen, where the company displayed its leading role in oil transshipment operations in Brazil and promoted the Liquids Terminal of Açu (TLA), its expansion project, Vast was also present at ROG.e’s congress, with the participation of CEO Victor Snabaitis Bomfim on the panel “Special session – Infrastructure for liquid handling: uncertainties in the transition scenario”.
On the occasion, Bomfim reinforced Vast’s role in the market and the relevance that the TLA will have for Brazil’s liquid handling infrastructure.
A Vast Infraestrutura e a Repsol, gigante espanhola do setor de óleo e gás, acabam de fechar parceria para realizar operações de transbordo de petróleo no T-Oil, terminal da Vast, localizado no Porto do Açu e que é destaque no cenário nacional, sendo responsável, no primeiro semestre de 2024, por 50,2% da exportação de óleo cru no Brasil a partir de terminais.
Com a adição da Repsol, a Vast agora conta com 11 clientes em sua carteira. A presença de todas as principais operadoras de petróleo do Brasil no T-Oil fortalece o papel da Vast como um marketplace estratégico, oferecendo a possibilidade de clientes combinarem cargas para exportação, aumentando a eficiência de suas operações.
Essa conquista da Vast reafirma o potencial da companhia e do Porto do Açu como plataformas logísticas de excelência, preparadas para suportar o crescimento da exportação de petróleo no Brasil.
Vast Infraestrutura and Repsol, the Spanish major of the oil & gas sector, have just signed a partnership to perform oil transshipment operations at T-Oil, Vast’s terminal located at Porto do Açu and a national highlight, being responsible, in the first semester of 2024, for 50.2% of Brazil’s crude oil exporsts from terminals.
With the addition of Repsol, Vast now has 11 clients in its portfolio. The presence of all of Brazil’s main oil operators on T-Oil strengthens Vast’s role as a strategic marketplace, offering the possibility for clients to combine cargoes for export, increasing the efficiency of their operations.
This achievement by Vast reaffirms the potential of the company and Porto do Açu as logistics platforms of excellence, prepared to support the growth of Brazilian crude oil exports.
No dia 05/09, a Vast Infraestrutura realizou mais uma edição do Comitê de SSO de Contratadas, seu evento anual que tem como objetivo reforçar o valor Segurança com fornecedores e parceiros e fortalecer a Cultura de Segurança e Prevenção de Acidentes da empresa.
Ao todo, 92 pessoas acompanharam, presencial e virtualmente, o encontro, que contou com a presença de colaboradores da Vast, equipes de 12 das empresas contratadas e a participação especial da CNOOC International, cliente da Vast que ficou responsável pela realização do safety moment de abertura.
Na ocasião, foi falado sobre onde a Vast está na escala de maturidade em Segurança, aonde a companhia quer chegar até o fim deste ano e o que é necessário para isso. Além disso, foi promovida uma apresentação da Comportamento Psicologia do Trabalho sobre fatores humanos em questões de segurança e como mitigar os comportamentos de risco.
É a Vast abrindo caminhos cada vez mais seguros para a energia.
On September 5, Vast Infraestrutura held another edition of the Contractors OHS Committee, the company’s annual event for reinforcing the Safety value with suppliers and partners and strengthening its Safety and Accident Prevention Culture.
Altogehther, 92 people attended, both in person and virtually, the meeting, which counted with the presence of Vast employees, teams from 12 of the contracted companies and the special participation of CNOOC International, Vast’s client that was invited to perform the opening safety moment.
At the event, it was discussed where Vast is on the safety maturity scale, where the company wants to be by the end of this year and what is needed to achieve this. There was also a presentation by Comportamento Psicologia do Trabalho consultancy on human factors in safety issues and how to mitigate risk behaviors.
This is Vast opening up increasingly safe paths for energy.
A Vast Infraestrutura recebeu em seu terminal de petróleo (T-Oil) o WS CASTOR, rebocador da Wilson Sons que faz parte da frota mais sustentável e potente do Brasil. A embarcação já é a segunda do tipo a atuar nas operações de transbordo da Vast.
O WS Castor atende ao padrão IMO Tier III, da Organização Marítima Internacional, e promove a redução de até 14% de gases de efeito estufa, contribuindo para a melhoria da qualidade do ar. Além disso, graças ao atracadouro que a Vast inaugurou este ano no T-Oil, sempre que não estiver em serviço, o rebocador será alimentado por energia elétrica de terra.

Vast Infraestrutura received at its oil terminal (T-Oil) the WS CASTOR, Wilson Sons’s tugboat that is part of the most sustainable and powerful fleet in Brazil. The vessel is the second of its kind to operate in Vast’s transshipment operations.
WS Castor meets the International Maritime Organization’s IMO Tier III standard, and reduces greenhouse gas emissions by up to 14%, helping to improve air quality. Furthermore, thanks to the berth inaugurated by Vast this year at T-Oil, whenever it’s not in service, the tug will be powered by onshore power supply.
At Vast, the concern for safety, efficiency and care for the environment extends to its partners and the company works with companies that have values and practices in line with its own.
