Vast Infraestrutura receives double recognition at the Cais Açu Lab awards
Vast Infraestrutura received two awards at the 3rd Cais Awards, held during Conecta Cais 2026, an initiative by Cais Açu Lab that celebrates projects developed within the Port of Açu Industrial Complex.
The Green Generators project earned 2nd place in the Energy Transition category for a solution implemented at the TLA, where diesel fuel was replaced with Bevant in one of the generators. The initiative has the potential to reduce the equipment’s greenhouse gas emissions by up to 99%.
Meanwhile, Birds of Açu secured 3rd place in the Process Improvement category with an initiative that combines biodiversity conservation, operational efficiency, and innovation. Originally launched in 2023 as a volunteer project led by Vast, Aves do Açu has since evolved into a Research, Development and Innovation (RD&I) project, sponsored by PETRONAS Brasil.
