Vast Infraestrutura signed a commercial agreement with BW Energy, global company of the O&G market.
The agreement establishes one year of transshipment operations at T-Oil, in Porto do Açu, making Vast an important logistic partner for BW’s oil exports in Brazil.

The issue brings with transparency the environmental, social and economic performance of the company, as well as information on governance, compliance and relationship with stakeholders.
Throughout last year, besides expanding its performance and beating operational records, Vast also demonstrated expressive improvement in safety, environmental impact, response to emergencies and decarbonization indicators.

On May 27, Vast Infraestrutura’s Sustainability Director, Adriano Truffi Lima, participated in the 2nd edition of the ESG Energy and Business, in Rio de Janeiro.
The event, held by the Brazilian Institute of Oil & Gas (IBP), gathered important players of the energy ecosystem for insights, connections and exchanges through debates on the main subjects regarding the ESG agenda.
At the occasion, Adriano integrated the “The impact of the energy transition on the competitiveness of the ‘Hard to abate’ industry” panel, which discussed strategies for the energy transition in the sector.
No dia 27 de maio, o Diretor de Sustentabilidade da Vast Infraestrutura, Adriano Truffi Lima, participou da 2ª edição do ESG Energia e Negócios, no Rio de Janeiro.
O evento, promovido pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Petróleo e Gás (IBP), reúne importantes players do ecossistema de energia, para insights, conexões e trocas de experiências, por meio de debates sobre os temas essenciais para a agenda ESG.
Na ocasião, Adriano integrou o painel “Impacto da transição energética na competitividade da indústria ‘Hard to abate'”, que discutiu estratégias para a transição energética no setor.
Vast Infraestrutura took another important step in its Decarbonization Journey and installed 44 photovoltaic panels in the administrative building of its oil terminal, the T-Oil.
The project, which originated from the company’s Sustainability Policy and Decarbonization Strategy, was conducted by the Sustainability and Engineering teams and has the objective of reducing the consume of electric power at T-Oil by generating around 3.036 kWh per month.
The 44-plate pack has 24,2kWp of power and works by transforming solar radiation into electric power using the photovoltaic cells exposed to the sunlight. The estimative is that the system also reduces the monthly CO2 emissions in 1.619 Kg.
The system is connected to Vast’s power substation, allowing the direct consumption of all the energy generated, and it is monitored by an app from which it is possible to extract KPIs and accompany the performance os the panels.
The forecast is to expand the project by the end of the year, with the installation of another 54 solar plates in the terminal.
