Vast Infraestrutura no Portos e Costas Brasil 2025

Nesta terça-feira, dia 23/09, a Vast Infraestrutura estará presente na 3ª edição do evento Portos e Costas Brasil, representada por nosso Diretor de Sustentabilidade, Adriano Truffi Lima, que apresentará a palestra “Estratégias e desafios para a descarbonização do setor marítimo e portuário na logística de exportação de petróleo”.

O encontro acontece no município de Itajaí, Santa Catarina, para importantes debates relacionados à infraestrutura costeira, portuária e de transporte aquaviário.

Vast Infraestrutura holds Maintenance Committee for Contractors’ OHS Recognition Program

In September, Vast Infraestrutura held its annual Maintenance Committee for the Contractors’ Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Recognition Program, an event aimed at strengthening the company’s safety culture, sharing results, and encouraging collective learning between Vast and its contractors.

During the meeting, participants discussed plans to improve practices focused on employee protection and well-being, as well as concepts of psychological safety and the role of leadership in building safer work environments.

The event is part of the program’s ongoing monitoring, which tracks contractors’ practices throughout the year and rewards the three companies with the best Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) management at the beginning of the following year.

Vast Infraestrutura realiza Comitê de Manutenção do Programa de Reconhecimento de SSO das Contratadas

Em setembro, a Vast Infraestrutura realizou o seu Comitê de Manutenção do Programa de Reconhecimento de SSO das Contratadas, encontro anual que tem como objetivo fortalecer a cultura de Segurança da companhia, promovendo a troca de resultados e incentivando o aprendizado coletivo entre a Vast e as suas contratadas.

Durante o evento, foram discutidos os planos de aprimoramento das práticas voltadas à proteção e ao bem-estar dos colaboradores, além de conceitos de segurança psicológica e o papel da liderança na construção de ambientes de trabalho mais seguros.

O encontro é uma das ações de acompanhamento do programa, que monitora as práticas das contratadas ao longo de todo o ano, premiando as três empresas com as melhores gestões de Saúde e Segurança Ocupacional (SSO) no início do ano seguinte.

CEO da Vast, Victor Snabaitis Bomfim, destaca iniciativas de transição energética na Rio Pipeline & Logistics 2025

Na última semana, a Vast Infraestrutura esteve na Rio Pipeline & Logistics 2025, um dos principais encontros internacionais do segmento de dutos e logística. Durante o evento, o CEO da companhia, Victor Snabaitis Bomfim, um dos palestrantes do Congresso, concedeu uma entrevista a André Ramalho, da agência eixos, e falou sobre as transformações necessárias na logística portuária para a transição energética.

Em sua fala, Victor destacou algumas das principais ações da Vast neste sentido, como a realização de operações de transbordo em águas abrigadas, que emitem 3x menos CO2e que as realizadas em mar aberto (underway); o fornecimento de energia por terra (Onshore Power Supply – OPS) para rebocadores e embarcações de apoio no T-Oil; o acordo com o Porto de Roterdã para a eletrificação, em escala mundial, de navios-tanque atracados; e os testes com diesel verde e o investimento em biocomponentes e biocombustíveis no TLA, reforçando o papel estratégico da companhia como vetor na descarbonização do setor marítimo.

Vast’s CEO, Victor Snabaitis Bomfim, highlights energy transition initiatives at Rio Pipeline & Logistics 2025

Last week, Vast Infraestrutura took part in Rio Pipeline & Logistics 2025, one of the leading international events in the pipeline and logistics sector. During the conference, the company’s CEO, Victor Snabaitis Bomfim, one of the Congress speakers, gave an interview to André Ramalho from Agência Eixos, where he discussed the transformations needed in port logistics to enable the energy transition.

In his remarks, Victor highlighted some of Vast’s key initiatives in this area, such as conducting transshipment operations in sheltered waters, which emit three times less CO2e compared to open-sea (underway) operations; providing Onshore Power Supply (OPS) for tugboats and support vessels at T-Oil; the agreement with the Port of Rotterdam to promote large-scale electrification of tankers at berth; as well as green diesel testing and investments in biocomponents and biofuels at TLA, reinforcing the company’s strategic role as a driver of decarbonization in the maritime sector.

Vast Infraestrutura and OceanPact conduct HVO refueling operation at TLA

On Monday, September 8, Vast Infraestrutura and OceanPact carried out an HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) bunkering operation at TLA. The initiative is part of the partnership established in May between the companies to promote the use of biofuels at the Porto do Açu.

The agreement provides for HVO refueling operations of OceanPact vessels operating on behalf of Vast at T-Oil, in order to test the feasibility of using the biofuel. The refueling operations will take place at TLA, and the studies will assess the impact of partially or fully replacing fossil fuels with biofuels and calculate the emissions avoided.

The signed agreement reinforces Vast and TLA’s strategic position in the decarbonization of the maritime sector.

Vast Infraestrutura continues to open increasingly sustainable horizons for energy.

Vast Infraestrutura e OceanPact fazem operação de abastecimento com HVO no TLA

Na última segunda-feira, dia 08/09, a Vast Infraestrutura e a OcenPact realizaram no TLA uma operação de abastecimento com Óleo Vegetal Hidrotratado (HVO). A iniciativa é parte da parceria firmada em maio entre as empresas para o fomento do uso de biocombustíveis no Porto do Açu.

O acordo prevê a realização de operações de abastecimento com HVO das embarcações da OceanPact que atuam a serviço da Vast no T-Oil para testar a viabilidade do uso do biocombustível. As operações de abastecimento acontecerão no TLA e os estudos avaliarão o impacto da substituição parcial ou total de combustíveis fósseis por biocombustíveis e calcularão as emissões evitadas.

O acordo assinado reforça a posição estratégica da Vast e do TLA na descarbonização do setor marítimo.

Vast Infraestrutura participates in Rio Pipeline & Logistics 2025 with lectures and article presentations

This week, on September 9, 10, and 11, Vast Infraestrutura will take part in Rio Pipeline & Logistics 2025.

In addition to the participation of its executives as speakers at the Congress and the Logistics Arena, the company will also present four articles developed by its teams.

The topics covered include studies on greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, innovation, emergency response, and the Aves do Açu project, reinforcing Vast’s commitment to sustainability, innovation, and social and environmental responsibility.
