Vast Infraestrutura realiza a 8ª edição do ConversAções

Em outubro, a Vast Infraestrutura realizou a 8ª edição do ConversAções, evento proprietário que tem como objetivo fortalecer o diálogo com a comunidade local.

A iniciativa aconteceu no SESC Grussaí, em São João da Barra, reunindo colaboradores da companhia, autoridades locais, organizações da sociedade civil e representantes de instituições de ensino.

Durante o evento, foram compartilhados com os participantes os avanços das obras do TLA, as ações de fomento social apoiadas pela Vast, os programas de capacitação profissional para mulheres no setor portuário e as iniciativas voltadas à contratação de fornecedores locais.

A Vast segue abrindo horizontes para a energia e para o desenvolvimento sustentável das comunidades da nossa área de influência.

Vast Infraestrutura holds the 8th edition of ConversAções

In October, Vast Infraestrutura held the 8th edition of ConversAções, a proprietary event aimed at strengthening dialogue with the local community.

The initiative took place at SESC Grussaí, in São João da Barra, bringing together company employees, local authorities, civil society organizations, and representatives from educational institutions.

During the event, participants were updated on the progress of the TLA construction works, the social development initiatives supported by Vast, the professional training programs for women in the port sector, and the efforts to prioritize local suppliers.

Vast Infraestrutura continues to open new horizons for energy and for the sustainable development of the communities within its area of influence.

Vast Infraestrutura e Wilson Sons realizam 1ª operação do país com todos os rebocadores abastecidos com HVO

A Vast Infraestrutura e a Wilson Sons realizaram um feito inédito: pela primeira vez no país, todos os rebocadores alocados em manobra marítima utilizaram o biocombustível HVO. A operação aconteceu dia 26 de outubro, no Terminal da Vast (T-Oil), no Porto do Açu, com cinco rebocadores da Wilson Sons.

O HVO, também conhecido como diesel renovável ou diesel verde, é um biocombustível utilizado em substituição ao diesel marítimo e que pode reduzir em mais de 70% as emissões de dióxido de carbono (CO2) em rebocadores, considerando-se o ciclo de vida completo do insumo.

O primeiro abastecimento com HVO no setor marítimo brasileiro foi realizado em um rebocador em maio, no Terminal de Líquidos do Açu (TLA), da Vast.

A iniciativa faz parte da Jornada de Descarbonização da Vast, que tem como objetivo, entre outros, fomentar a utilização de biocombustíveis no setor marítimo, garantindo operações cada vez mais sustentáveis em seus terminais.

Vast Infraestrutura and Wilson Sons carry out Brazil’s first operation with all tugboats powered by HVO

Vast Infraestrutura and Wilson Sons achieved a milestone: for the first time in Brazil, all tugboats involved in a maritime maneuver were powered by HVO biofuel. The operation took place on October 26 at Vast’s terminal (T-Oil) in the Port of Açu, with five Wilson Sons tugboats.

HVO, also known as renewable diesel or green diesel, is a biofuel that replaces conventional marine diesel and can reduce carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions by more than 70%, considering the full life cycle of the fuel.

The first refueling with HVO in Brazil’s maritime sector took place in May, at the Liquid Bulk Terminal of Açu (TLA), operated by Vast.

This initiative is part of Vast’s Decarbonization Journey, which aims to promote the use of biofuels in the maritime industry, ensuring increasingly sustainable operations across its terminals.
