Vast Infraestrutura é destaque no Estatístico Aquaviário da ANTAQ

Neste mês, a Vast Infraestrutura foi um dos destaques do Estatístico Aquaviário da Agência Nacional de Transportes Aquaviários (ANTAQ).

De acordo os dados, no 1º semestre de 2024, o terminal de petróleo da Vast (T-Oil) foi responsável por 50,2% de toda a movimentação nos terminais que exportam petróleo no país e se manteve em 1º lugar no mercado de exportação de óleo bruto, com 13,6 milhões de toneladas movimentadas.

Além disso, o terminal da empresa ficou em 2º lugar no mercado de movimentação de óleo bruto, com 27,1 milhões de toneladas movimentadas. A Vast foi ainda responsável por 68% de toda a movimentação no Porto do Açu, 3º porto que mais movimentou carga em todo o Brasil no período.

Os resultados demonstram todo o crescimento, a eficiência e a excelência operacional da Vast, que é hoje a líder no transbordo de petróleo no país.

Porto do Açu now has service of sanitary certificates issuance for vessels at side-by-side

In the first semester of 2024, Porto do Açu, where Vast Infraestrutura’s terminal (T-Oil) is located, was added by the World Health Organization (WHO) to the list of authorized ports to issue sanitary certificates for vessels berthed alongside.

The service, done by the National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa), is now authorized by WHO to be conducted on vessels berthed at side-by-side as well.

This decision represents yet another distinguishing feature of the services provided at Porto do Açu and, consequently, at T-Oil, contributing to making Vast’s operations increasingly efficient and safe.

No primeiro semestre de 2024, o Porto do Açu, onde o terminal de petróleo da Vast (T-Oil) está situado, foi incluído pela Organização Mundial de Saúde (OMS) na lista de portos autorizados a emitir certificados sanitários para embarcações atracadas diretamente nos berços.

O serviço, feito pela Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária (Anvisa), agora foi liberado pela OMS a ser realizado também em navios a contrabordo.

A decisão representa mais um diferencial nos serviços realizados no Porto do Açu e, consequentemente, no T-Oil, ao contribuir para tornar as operações da Vast cada vez mais eficientes e seguras.

Vast Infraestrutura stood out in two categories of the Portos + Brasil award

Vast Infraestrutura was one of the highlights of the 5th edition of the Portos + Brasil Awards, held by the Brazilian Ministry of Ports and Airports on August 7 in Brasilia, in recognition of the country’s public port complexes and Private Use Terminals (TUPs).

On the occasion, Vast’s oil terminal (T-Oil) was recognized in two different categories, taking first place in Growth in liquid bulk handling and third place in Growth in total handling of TUPs. The company was represented at the event by Adriano Truffi Lima, the Vast’s Sustainability Director.

The double recognition reflects the growth and consolidation of Vast, which today is a reference for operational excellence and efficiency in Brazil, being responsible for handling around 40% of all the country’s oil exports.

A Vast Infraestrutura foi um dos destaques da 5ª edição do Prêmio Portos + Brasil, realizada pelo Ministério de Portos e Aeroportos no dia 07/08, em Brasília, em reconhecimento aos complexos portuários públicos e Terminais de Uso Privado (TUPs) do país.

Na ocasião, o Terminal de petróleo da Vast (T-Oil) foi reconhecido em duas categorias diferentes, ficando com o primeiro lugar em Crescimento da movimentação de granel líquido e com o terceiro em Crescimento da movimentação total dos TUPs. A companhia foi representada no evento por Adriano Truffi Lima, Diretor de Sustentabilidade da empresa.

O duplo reconhecimento reflete a trajetória de crescimento e consolidação da Vast, que hoje é referência em excelência e eficiência operacional no Brasil, sendo responsável por movimentar cerca de 40% de toda a exportação de petróleo do país.

Vast Infraestrutura has a new fairway to access T-Oil

Vast Infraestrutura has just announced a new milestone to its oil transshipment operations: the obtaining of the authorization from the Brazilian Navy to optimize the access of VLCC and Suezmax vessels in ballast to the company’s terminal, at Porto do Açu.

The measure allows the vessels to access the terminal by a new fairway, eliminating the need for the full navigation from the beginning of the access, leaving the main channel to remain available for loaded vessels.

This is an important step towards reducing the navigation time and the time between meneuvers, which will bring relevant gains in efficiency to operations.

The company remains committed to making Açu the safer, most efficient and sustainable place to oil transshipment operations.

Vast Infraestrutura agora tem novo fairway para acesso ao T-Oil

A Vast Infraestrutura acaba de anunciar um novo marco para as suas operações de transbordo de petróleo: a obtenção da autorização da marinha para otimizar o acesso de navios VLCC e Suezmax em lastro ao terminal, no Porto do Açu.

A medida permite que os navios ingressem por meio de um novo fairway, sem a necessidade de navegação completa dessas embarcações por todo o canal de acesso principal. A medida possibilita que o canal fique disponível para os navios carregados.

A homologação pela Marinha e a redução do tempo de navegação são passos importantes para que a Vast alcance a diminuição do intervalo entre manobras, trazendo ganhos significativos em eficiência para as operações de transbordo.

A empresa segue comprometida em tornar o Açu o lugar mais seguro, eficiente e sustentável para operações de transbordo.

Vast Infraestrutura and Vibra sign contract for liquid handling at Açu

Vast Infraestrutura has just announced that it has signed a 20-year contract with Vibra to handle base oil at the Açu Liquids Terminal (TLA). The TLA structure will be used as the main gateway for Vibra’s base oils in Brazil. The product is used as a raw material for the production of lubricants.

The agreement strengthens the development of the TLA, located in the Port of Açu and which, from 2025, will function as a hub for storing and handling liquids in general, such as marine fuels, derivatives, lubricants and biofuels. In addition to the tank farm, the new terminal will have two operational berths and tanker loading platforms for the overland flow of liquids.

The terminal will also be able to handle fuels with a lower carbon footprint, especially those that will contribute to the decarbonization of the maritime sector.

Vast Infraestrutura e Vibra assinam contrato para a movimentação de líquidos no Açu

A Vast Infraestrutura acaba de anunciar que fechou um contrato de 20 anos com a Vibra para a movimentação de óleo básico no Terminal de Líquidos do Açu (TLA). A estrutura do TLA será utilizada como a principal porta de entrada de óleos básicos da Vibra no Brasil. O produto é usado como matéria-prima para a produção de lubrificantes.

O acordo fortalece o desenvolvimento do TLA, localizado no Porto do Açu e que, a partir de 2025, funcionará como um hub para armazenagem e movimentação de líquidos em geral, como combustíveis marítimos, derivados, lubrificantes e biocombustíveis. Além do parque de tancagem, o novo terminal contará com dois berços operacionais e com plataformas de carregamento de caminhões-tanques para o escoamento terrestre de líquidos.

O terminal também se capacita para movimentação de combustíveis com menor pegada de carbono, em especial aqueles que venham a contribuir para a descarbonização do setor marítimo.

Vast Infraestrutura helds Green June campaign

Last month, Vast Infraestrutura held, along with the other companies present at Porto do Açu, the Green June campaign, annual initiative that has the objective of raising awareness about caring for the environment.

In 2024, with the tag “#AçuPeloClima” (Açu for the climate), the campaign had as its theme the climate change, topic addressed by ONU in this year’s agenda. A few of the subjects covered were the impacts of this phenomenon in Brazil and in the world, the challenges of the port sector due to this scenario, and how innovation can help in decarbonization initiatives.

Besides lectures, the campaign also carried out an Environmental Fair along with São João da Barra city hall; an Ecofair at Porto do Açu; a beach-cleaning event that gathered 131 participants, including members of the local community, and collected 287,8kg of waste; and a working group between the companies installed at Porto do Açu where Vast presented its Sustainability Journey and its measures to help boosting the descarbonization topic.

In this last initiative, the group discussed how the companies can work in synergy to address the climate change topic in the port context.
