Vast Infraestrutura promotes its 2025 Sea Turtle Hatchling Walk

As part of the company’s commitment to sustainability, Vast held the 2025 Sea Turtle Hatchling Walk, an initiative of the Marine Turtle Monitoring Program, which has been dedicated to the conservation of these animals for 16 years.

The event, in partnership with project Tamar, took place at Reserva Caruara in São João da Barra and brought together Vast employees to help release around 20 turtles on the beach. In addition to the walk, the program included an exhibition by the Aves do Açu project, a visit to the Environmental Education Room and a screening of a video about local wildlife.

Since the program began in 2008, more than 1 million hatchlings have been released into the sea.

The Marine Turtle Monitoring Program carries out environmental education initiatives with our teams and the local community, monitors hatchling births, and provides care for animals in need of treatment. Today, it oversees 62 km of coastline, from Pontal de Atafona in São João da Barra to Barra do Furado in Campos dos Goytacazes.
