Vast Infraestrutura helds Green June campaign
This month, Vast, in partnership with Prumo, Porto do Açu, Ferroport, DOME, Reserva Caruara, Anglo American, Technip, Wilson Sons, Grupo Minas Port, and Ambipar, carried out its annual Green June campaign. Centered on the theme of “Energy Transition,” the initiative aimed to promote environmental awareness and reinforce the importance of adopting sustainable practices.
As part of the campaign, Vast took part in the Science Fair at Espaço da Ciência in São João da Barra and held a lecture on electronic waste, which was accompanied by an exhibition of creative handicrafts made from reused materials. A roundtable discussion on energy transition was also held at the Porto do Açu Visitor Center (CEVISPA), followed by a closing lecture on biodiversity.
This final event highlighted Vast’s conservation initiatives, such as the Aves do Açu project, De Olho no Mar, and the Sea Turtle Monitoring Program (PMTM), in addition to addressing topics related to the bioeconomy and the links between nature and business.
Vast continues to open increasingly sustainable horizons for energy.
