Porto do Açu receives new tugboats from Wilson Sons
Three new Wilson Sons tugboats have just arrived at Porto do Açu and have already been added to the complex’s fleet. Now, all Wilson Sons tugboats operating at the port, including 3 from the latest cycle of more sustainable vessels, will be able to support oil transshipment operations at T-Oil. In total, Porto do Açu has eight tugboats in operation.
The new set of tugboats will reduce turnaround times and enable simultaneous maneuvers, increasing the efficiency of Vast’s services and allowing for more operations per month at T-Oil.
This milestone marks a significant achievement for Vast and is in line with the company’s commitment to delivering increasingly efficient and safe operations to the market.
