Vast at the ESG Energy Forum
This week, Vast participated in the 1st edition of the ESG Energy Forum! The event, organized by IBP – Instituto Brasileiro de Petróleo e Gás, represents advancements in sustainability discussions for the oil, gas, and energy industry in Brazil.

Our General Manager of Sustainability and QSMS, Adriano Truffi Lima, took part in the panel “Environmental Protection of the Brazilian Oceans and Coastline,” a topic aligned with our biodiversity conservation practices, such as the Aves do Açu project, aimed at preserving marine and coastal birds, and our partnership with Sea Turtle Monitoring, which has already released 1.1 million hatchlings into the sea.
In addition to these topics, another aspect discussed in the panel with Adriano was the importance of safety in Vast’s operations, which are carried out in sheltered areas with an emergency response base installed at the terminal. Our participation in the Mutual Aid Plan (PAM) of Porto do Açu and the implementation of training and simulations involving authorities and the local community were other highlights of the debate.
Prominent industry figures participated in the discussion, which encompassed essential topics for a future with lower carbon emissions!
