Açu Petróleo signs contract with Equinor
Açu Petróleo signed a contract with Equinor to carry out transhipment operations at the Petroleum Terminal (T-OIL) of the Port of Açu Complex. With a duration of 36 months, counting from January 2020, the agreement will be destined for the relief of Equinor’s oil production in the Roncador field, allowing Equinor to operate, through Suezmax and VLCC (Very Large Crude Carrier) vessels, most of its oil exports from Brazil through the Açu Petróleo Terminal.
“Equinor is another company that has chosen to use the modern and secure infrastructure of T-OIL. The entry of another important customer will further reinforce our commitment to excellence in safety and care for the environment in our operations ”, celebrates Victor Bomfim, president of Açu Petróleo.
