We understand the global relevance of the climate change theme and seek to be a reference in sustainability and best practices by adopting and developing measures and solutions to promote the reduction of the carbon intensity of our operations, contributing to the consolidation of Açu Port as the port of energy transition and a point of reference for sustainable development. In this sense, since 2018 we have carried out GHG emissions inventories and, in 2022, we achieved the Gold seal of the GHG Protocol and verification of the inventory in ISO 14064.

INTENSIVE SERVICES
In order to contribute to the fight against climate change, we aim to differentiate ourselves by offering services with a low carbon emission profile. The commitment also encompasses measuring and reporting our emissions through an inventory and seeking to reduce the carbon intensity of operations, with the contribution of customers and contractors in the preparation of own or integrated initiatives. A breakthrough in 2022 was the preparation of our Decarbonization Strategy, through which we express our commitment to the progressive reduction of the equivalent carbon emission intensity in our operations, following the guidelines of our Sustainability Policy.
